The Jalori Pass trek can be divided into 2 or 3 smaller treks.
First, to Raghupur Fort.

Second, to Jalori 360 viewpoint.

Third, to Serolsar Lake.

All these treks begin from the same place. Jalori 360 viewpoint is in the same route as of the Serolsar lake. It is half the distance of the lake. The trails are well marked and you would not get lost. Plus lots of locals go to the Budhi Naagin temple to pray which is near the Serolsar lake so you will find people all along the route.

If you are coming by private vehicle then get down at Mahakali temple and start your trek. If you are relying on public transport then be careful of the timings because buses only run on certain hours of the day. Remember if you want to complete the hike in one day and return by night then start early and return to the Mahakali temple to take the last bus for returning to Jibhi or Shoja.
Starting Point: If you take HRTC bus from Jibhi, Tandi or Shoja then get down at Mahakali Temple. The best way is to tell the driver or the conductor and they will drop you at the right place. All the Jalori pass treks begin from the Mahakali temple. Refer to the map provided.

Distance: The distance from Mahakali Temple to Raghupur Fort is 2.5km. The distance from The Mahakali Temple to 360 viewpoint is around 2km. And the distance from the Mahakali temple to Serolsar Lake is 5km. Keep in mind the route has some inclination at many points and hence might take much more time than shown in google maps. Therefore, plan your day accordingly.

During winter, the pass receives snow, making it a popular spot for snow trekking, but this can make the trek more challenging due to icy conditions. Also please avoid the monsoon or rainy season due to dangers of cloudbursts and landslides.
How to Reach Jalori Pass Trek Starting Point

The nearest town to Jalori Pass is Jibhi (in Tirthan Valley). If you are taking bus from Delhi or Chandigarh then get down at Aut. From Aut take local bus to Tandi-Jibhi-Shoja. It is recommended that you stay at Jibhi or Shoja for easy access to these treks and also enjoy the vibe of these peaceful villages. From Jibhi, a short drive or local buses will take you to the starting point of Jalori Pass trek. For stay you can consider options in Jibhi. You can find lots of options both budget and luxury as per your preference.
